Bookstore Offers “Green” Merchandise

Earthshine – Blair’s student environmental club – and Grace Weiner ’11, an environmental science student, were instrumental in procuring some of the “green items” available in Blair’s bookstore, including reusable cloth shopping bags, index cards made from recycled paper and steel water bottles.

“Wearin’ of the Green” Comes Early This Year
Blair Vies in Green Cup Challenge to Save Electricity

Visitors to Blair’s campus this January found a snowy white wonderland. Starting Monday, January 26, however, they’ll find a green and white color scheme, as Blair makes good on its intent to enter the Green Schools Alliance Green Cup Challenge. Blair Academy’s Sustainability Committee members have been working to implement this four-week, electricity saving program that extends until Monday, February 23. Click here to read more.

Move over, Kelley-Potter Cup! It’s early December and, yes, the Peddie Day competition is behind us. The campus is decked in evergreen swags, wreaths and trees, but it wears a mantel of green in other ways, too.
