Each year, approximately 10 to 12 students who have completed high school elsewhere enroll in Blair’s Postgraduate Program. As boarding students and part of the senior class, postgraduates seek the benefits of Blair for a variety of reasons. The Postgraduate year is designed as a precollege experience for students who have never experienced the individualized attention Blair offers. Postgraduate students take advantage of the additional year before college to strengthen study skills, further their abilities through the mandatory summer writing tutorial, and focus more closely on specific academic pursuits.
