Blair is a school...
- where you will receive a superior college preparatory education;

- where you will meet some of the finest human beings in the world faculty as well as students and best of all, you will leave calling these people friends.

We are committed to getting you into the very best colleges in the country, and more importantly, we are committed to preparing you to be a success when you enter that college arena.
Blair is interested in students who seek the satisfaction of personal achievement through an experience that is both broad and challenging. We are looking for students who are determined to make the most of their secondary school years and to prepare for college and beyond by being active participants in an engaging environment. If you are looking for a family-oriented boarding school where values and character are an integral part of the search for personal excellence, then consider all that Blair has to offer. Consider the alternatives, and then consider the opportunities at Blair.
We encourage you to visit us, take a campus tour, talk with the students and faculty and meet the admissions staff. Please call the Admission Office to schedule a visit.
We look forward to meeting you.
Most cordially,
Barbara Haase

The Truth About Boarding School
Blair Academy participated in the The Association for Boarding Schools (TABS) survey to collect data on why students who attend boarding schools have a greater advantage than those in public and day schools. Their survey concluded that: New research proves that contemporary boarding schools serve a diverse body of motivated and well-rounded students who study and live in supportive, inclusive academic communities where they learn about independence and responsibility traditional values that help them achieve success at higher rates than private day and public schools students in the classroom and beyond.
