Blairstown Reception, December 6, 2006
Following the Boys Varsity Basketball game vs. The Hun School, Chan and Monie Hardwick welcomed over 70 prospective students and parents from the area into their home for an evening of conversation and connection with current Blair faculty, students and parents. Blair parents included Pat and Chuck Maillet (parents of Patrick ’10, Matt ’06 and Kate’04); Mark and Daneen Christmas (father of Chris ’08); Don Surdoval (father of Kait ’08); Frank and Janis Peretore (parents of Samantha ’07); Diane and Phil Zranchev (parents of Amanda ’08); Bruce and Patsy Gardiner (parents of Cassandra ’07); Stephen and Jennifer Schaffer (parents of Brendan ’07); Christine Parauda (mother of Elliot ’09) and Richard and Suzanne Hoffman (parents of Dillon ’10).

Greenwich, CT Reception, November 1, 2006
Prospective students and their parents gathered at the home of Frank and Abbie Jordan (parents of Stafford ’07 and Harris ’10) in Greenwich, CT to learn more about Blair Academy from admission officers, faculty members, current Blair parents, and current Blair students. Headmaster Chan Hardwick spoke about the Blair experience and answered questions or directed questions to students. Current Blair parents, Craig and Georgia Harding (parents of Maggie ’07); Tony Daddino (father of Colin ’07 and Adam ’09); Earlene Welch (mother of T.J. ’10); Roger and Sarah Boyle (parents of Bobby ’09) and Holly Anderson ’81(mother of Hayley ’10) attended the reception. Blair alumnus, Kristin Nelson ’02, a teacher at Greenwich Country Day School was also in attendance.

NYC Reception, October 24, 2006
A Blair Admissions reception was held on October 24th at the home of Maureen Liebowitz (mother of Jordy ’06 and Kara ’07). Prospective students and their parents were able to meet Headmaster Chan Hardwick, representatives from the admission office, and parents of current Blair students. They also learned more about Blair through the eyes of several current students who were in attendance. The Admission Office offers a number of informal receptions throughout the school year; please see “Blair on the Road” for dates and locations.
