Blair has lost one of its most loyal and colorful former faculty members
this week. Larry Joline passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 8, 2008,
in a hospice in Florida. Larry taught science at Blair from 1963 – 1981
but wore many hats on campus. He was assistant coach for football, Peddie
bonfire advisor, head of the Outing Club (hiking, camping, canoeing, etc.),
and he pretty much started the ski program and founded the Blair Invitational
ski meet in the late 60s/early 70s. Larry will be remembered for the richness
of his character and how he cared for students and fellow faculty members.
