5/7 - Blair 7 - MKA 1
Dustin Minore had three hits and three RBIs to lead the offensive attack for Blair. Brad Weiss and Brian Baudinet added two hits each for the Bucs. The win was the eighth straight for Blair.
5/5 - Blair comeback defeats Newark
After making several defensive mistakes for most of the day, Blair was able to escape with an extra inning win over Newark. Down 5-1, the Bucs scored three runs in the fifth and one in the sixth to tie the score before getting a game winning hit from Brad Weiss in the bottom of the eighth inning. Weiss was three for four on the day with three RBIs and Tom Chalupa and Kevin Brewster added two hits each.
5/3 - Blair 7 Newton 6
Ty Johnston’s RBI single in the bottom of the last inning gave Blair a 7-6 victory over the visiting Newton. Brian Baudinet pitched five strong innings for Blair and Brad Weiss had two hits for the Bucs.
5/1 - Blair wins MAPL tilt over Mercersburg
Blair defeated Mercersburg 4-0 in a great pitching dual on Sunday. Blair’s Ty Johnston threw a two hitter and struck out four while Josh Edgin of Mercersburg struck out 10 Blair hitters in defeat. Richard Kurth broke things open in the sixth inning for the Bucs with a two run single. Brad Weiss and Brain Baudinet each had two hits for Blair. Blair is now 10-3.
