- Blair's nine-year record:
161 wins - 69 losses.
- Six of
last nine MAPL Tournament Champions (2000 to 2003, 2005,
2006).
- Blair is 51-10 in MAPL League
competition since the league’s
inception nine years ago.
- Blair was the only high school
team in the nation this decade to have two McDonald’s and Parade
All-Americans (Villanueva ’03 and Deng ’03) in the same year.
- There are three former Blair
players in the NBA and 15 playing in college (12 at the
D-1 level).
- Blair has produced two NBA first round picks, Luol
Deng (drafted seventh in 2004)
and Charlie Villanueva (drafted seventh in 2005), and one
second round pick, Royal Ivey (drafted 37th in 2005).
- Blair graduate Woody
Kampmann is an Assistant Basketball Coach at Cornell University
and former Blair coach Terrell Ivory is now an assistant
basketball coach at Davidson College.
- Blair Academy has graduates
competing at Duke, Stanford, Louisville, West Virginia,
Texas, Marquette, Lehigh, Rider, Canisius, Northeastern,
UNC Charlotte, Marist, Randolph Macon, Ursinus and Wentworth.
