Swartswood Lake and North Shore House

From Route 80, take exit 25, Route 206 north to Newton, about 12 miles. From Newton, make a left at the second traffic light then veer right to stay on Route 206 (Spring Street) then make a left at the next light onto Route 519. Follow 519 for approximately 1/2 mile, and then make a left onto Route 622 at Sussex County College sign. Follow Route 622 for about 5 miles. After passing the turnoff for Swartswood State Park, stay straight for another 1/2 mile and then take a left into the North Shore House driveway. The driveway is just before Mengo's Pizza. Take the dirt driveway all the way down to the lake and park before getting to the yellow hotel on your left.
