5/4 - Blair 199 - PDS 229 - Pennington 217
Lucas Ludgate once again led Blair, this time with a 3 over par 38, as the Bucs defeated PDS and Pennington in a tri-match on Friday afternoon. It was the 7th time in 11 matches that Lucas has been Blair's low man. While Pennington's Joe Fagnani (35) was the low overall player, Blair recorded the next 4 scores. After Lucas, Nick Rencis, averaging a 38.5 over his last three matches, shot a 39, and Sam Giddins and Kevin Yue followed him with 40s. Charlie Maikis rounded out the scoring with a 42. The two victories gave Blair a 3 match winning streak as they head into their next match, a quad against Manasquan, St. Rose, and Brick next Wednesday.

5/2 - Blair 197 - Lawrenceville 216
Lucas Ludgate shot an even par 35 to lead Blair to its first victory over Lawrenceville in a decade. Playing with Lucas, Sam Giddins matched his season best 39. Both players started strong, with Sam birdying the 1st, and Lucas birdying the 3rd and 4th holes. Nick Rencis and Charlie Maikis both overcame slow starts to shoot 40s. Charlie quadruple bogied his 2nd hole before parring 6 of his final 7 holes, and Nick was 5 over through 4 before finishing even on his last 5. Kevin Yue's 43 sealed the Bucs first sub 200 score since 2002. Blair looks to get over .500 with a tri-match on Friday against PDS and Pennington.

4/28 - Blair 216 - Peddie 203
Blair lost to a strong Peddie team 203-216 on Saturday. Freshman Nick Rencis shot his low round of the year, a 1 over 37, to lead the Bucs. Blair will return to Peddie twice more this year for the MAPL and Prep A State Championship.

4/25 - Blair 218 - PDS 250
Blair evened its record at 4-4 with a win over PDS at Bedens Brook Country Club. Lucas Ludgate, Nick Rencis, Kevin Yue and Sam Giddins all shot 7 over 43s to lead the Bucs. Senior Robbie Williams finished out the scoring with a 46.

4/21 - Blair 233 - Hill 228
Blair struggled at Brookside Country Club on Saturday, shooting their worst number of the year, and losing to Hill 228 - 233. No Blair golfer broke 45, as the team shot a full 31 shots worse than they had in their previous match, and 20 shots over their average on the year. Blair looks to get back on the winning track next Wednesday vs. Princeton Day School.

4/19 North Warren (W 202-237)
Blair evened its record at 3-3 with a commanding win over North Warren. The Bucs used 3 rounds in the 30s to match their season low of 202. Once again, it was Lucas Ludgate who led the way with a 38, marking the 4th straight match that he has scored in the 30s. This time, however, he was not alone, as Kevin Yue used a strong start to match Lucas's 38. Kevin was 1 under through 6 holes, before a few errant shots cooled him off. Still, the 38 bests his lowest round of the year by a shot. And Sam Giddins again crashed the 30s party, using an eagle 3 on the 7th hole to shoot 39. Robbie Williams shot a season low 42, and freshman Nick Rencis contributed with a 45. The Bucs head to Hill for MAPL matchup on Saturday, as they look to get over .500 for the first time this season.

4/18 Lawrenceville (L 205-208)
Blair lost a close match on Wednesday at Lawrenceville. Lucas Ludgate again led the way with a 38, with Sam Giddins and Ollie Durling following with 41s. The 41 marks Ollie's lowest round of his young Blair career. Despite the disappointing loss, the Blair boys played well, and can look forward to a rematch at Blair in the coming weeks.

4/13 - Rutgers Prep (W 202-222)
Lucas Ludgate shot a 1 under par 35 at Quailbrook to lead Blair past Rutgers Prep, 202-222. Lucas eagled the par 5 first hole, hitting a beast mode 3 iron off the tee, then knocking an 8 iron to 10 feet, and then draining the putt. Sophomore Sam Giddins used a similar strong start to post his first sub 40 round of his career. A birdie - birdie start that included an 80 foot putt on the first hole propelled him to a 39. Senior Kevin Yue also began his round with a birdie and was the third Blair golfer in the 30s, as he overcame 3 3-putts to shoot his season best 39. Robbie Williams shot 44, and Ollie Durling, playing in his first varsity match, finished the scoring with a 45. The 202 marks the lowest team score for Blair since the 2005 season.

4/11 - Peddie (L 195-211)
Despite shooting a season's best 211, Blair lost to a strong Peddie team on Wednesday. Lucas Ludgate shot a 3 over par 38, his low for the season. Kevin Yue (41), Sam Giddins (43), and Robbie Williams (44) all shot their low season numbers as well. Blair looks to get back on the winning track on Friday against Rutgers Prep.

4/4 - at Hun/Jasna Polana (W 212-229)
Blair evened its record at 1-1 with a win over the Hun School on Wednesday. Playing at the TPC at Jasna Polana, Blair carded 5 of the top 6 scores on the day. Freshman Nick Rencis again led the way with a 41, a score that was matched by senior Charlie Maikis. Charlie hit 6 of 7 fairways en route to his lowest match score of his career. Lucas Ludgate and Kevin Yue followed with 43s, and Sam Giddins rounded out the scoring with a 44. Blair takes on Peddie at home next Wednesday.

4/2 - Hunterdon Central (L 212-230)
Blair lost its opener to a strong Hunterdon Central team. Freshman Nick Rencis led the Bucs with a 42, and junior Lucas Ludgate followed with a 43. But Hunterdon countered with the low two rounds of the day, 37 and 41. Blair will look to get their first win of the season on Wednesday as they travel to Princeton to play MAPL rival Hun at the TPC at Jasna Polana.
