Founded in 1972, the Blair lacrosse program builds upon a number of ideals that have well served Blair students over the years. We want the school to feel proud about the strength of our program, for our players to enjoy a fun and educational environment, and to foster a winning atmosphere for players, parents, and fans. I am pleased that our student-athletes take responsibility for meeting these ideals, and that as the program grows, we will continue to improve in all of these areas. This year will mark our tenth in the New Jersey Rizk division, which combines both public and private schools, and offers excellent competition.

In addition, we face stiff competition outside of Rizk, competing in the MAPL League against some of the top teams in New Jersey including The Peddie School, The Hun School of Princeton, and The Lawrenceville School, all of which are perennial members of the New Jersey Star-Ledger Top 15. In addition, many of our players go on to compete at the college level. We have sent players to AmherstCollege, DrewUniversity, HartwickCollege, MiddleburyCollege, LehighUniversity, and LafayetteCollege to name just a few. Several of our players from this year’s team will be looking at top Division I and III schools for the upcoming fall, and we hope to build on this success in the future.

This season will mark my second as the Head Coach of Blair. Prior to my arrival at Blair Academy I taught in Rome, Italy and at Avon Old Farms where I served as the Assistant Varsity Coach. I have been playing lacrosse since seventh grade and earned All-American honors in high school and went on to a successful four year career at Harvard College where I earned All-American honors, Ivy League Player of the Year, and left as the school’s all time leading scorer.

The Blair Academy lacrosse program is on the rise. We strive to play a competitive brand of lacrosse in a state that is growing into a hotbed for high school lacrosse. The program offers opportunities for players of all levels and experience, and we hope to provide any player with the chance to work on his game and be a member of a positive and enriching program.

Ideally, I will have the opportunity to meet with you in person, but again, please take the opportunity to get in touch with me if you ever have any questions regarding Blair Academy or our program. Thank you for your interest in Blair lacrosse, and if you love lacrosse... we are interested in you.
