Boys’ Soccer

About the Coaching Staff

Ryan Spring is in his ninth year as a faculty member at Blair Academy in 2006-7 and his fourth year as the head boys’ soccer coach. His overall record as the head coach is 26-29-5.

Coach Spring completed the National Soccer Coaches Association of America National Diploma course in 2003 and has worked numerous soccer camps in the summers. He played high school soccer at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA and one year of college soccer at Bates College in Lewiston, ME. He is also a member of Blair’s History Department.

Hailing from Manchester, England, assistant coach Bob Brandwood has been coaching soccer at Blair for over two decades. He earned his NSCAA National Diploma in 2006 and is the father of two Blair soccer players: Steven ’06 and David ’08. He is also chair of Blair’s English Department.

In addition, Stacey Gorski Spring, the girls’ varsity head coach and a former goalkeeper at Middlebury College, helps train all of the Blair goalkeepers.
