About the Coaching Staff

Ryan Spring joined the Blair faculty in 1998 and became the head boys’ soccer coach in 2003.

In the summers, Coach Spring has worked for U.K. Elite, United Soccer Academy, the Stroudsburg United Soccer Club, and Camp Dudley. Coach Spring completed the National Soccer Coaches Association of America National Diploma course in 2003. He is also a member of Blair’s History Department.

Hailing from Manchester, England, assistant coach Bob Brandwood has been coaching soccer at Blair for over two decades. He earned his NSCAA National Diploma in 2006 and is the father of two former Blair soccer captains: Steven ’06 and David ’08. He is also the Chair of Blair’s English Department.

In addition, Stacey Gorski Spring, the girls’ varsity head coach and a former goalkeeper at Middlebury College, helps train the Blair goalkeepers.
