Art on Display in “The Can”

Art by Wendy Yeung ’06 (right) and Rachel Tarrats ’06 (below, left) was on exhibit in the Campus Center (a.k.a. “The Can”) from January 25 to February 15, with an artists’ reception on February 13. Rita Baragona, chair of the fine arts department, commented, “Wendy’s works are painted in colors full of light. Her most recent painting is of a garden in the style of Monet.”

“Rachel Tarrats’ drawings are precise, realistic renderings. Her series of drawings on child abuse are deeply moving and full of symbolic references. Everyone enjoyed the show and the reception, and complimented Wendy and Rachel on their fine work.” Posted 2/21/06
