Blood Drive in February

Blair’s annual blood drive, sponsored by the Health Center, is slated for Wednesday, February 22, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in Walker Gymnasium. Diane Sauve, director of the center, said, “Our goal is 50 units of blood, and since we have over two hundred people on this campus who are eligible to donate, it will be great to be able to give that kind of help to others in need.”

Interested donors should contact her about obtaining the proper registration form and are reminded that on the day of the blood drive, they should remember to bring the following: social security number and a signature I.D. from a state, county, city or school.

Diane adds, “A photo I.D. with a signature is preferred for first-time donors.” She reminds Blair community members that Blair facebook I.D. cards are not accepted, so donors should come prepared. Updated 2/22
