British Lacrosse Players Compete at Blair

Lacrosse girls’ teams from St. Catherine’s in England traveled to America in April for a six-game, 10-day tour. Along the way, they stopped at Blair, where their 15-and-under group played and lost to Blair’s varsity team, while their 14-and-under team won against Blair’s JV squad.

The British players also competed against teams in Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, Maryland, including Howard Road Academy and St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School, respectively. In addition to having fun on the athletic field, they enjoyed sightseeing in D.C. and New York City. Before departing Blair’s campus for the Big Apple, they shared some pizza and camaraderie with their counterparts. Posted 4/14/06
