Blair Sponsors Crop Walk

Blair Academy’s community service organization, under the guidance of faculty member Kaye Evans, sponsored a Crop Walk on Sunday, October 16 on the Blair campus. The three- to four-mile walk supports Church World Service in its efforts to raise money for refugees around the world, including the targeted areas of the Sudan and the Gulf Coast in the United States. Twenty-five percent of the money raised comes back to support local food pantries in Warren County, N.J.

Participating churches include St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, First Presbyterian Church of Blairstown, Walnut Valley Methodist Church and Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. In addition to the community service organization members, other Blair students and faculty walked and volunteered their time that day.
