News & Events 2005-2006 Weekend Full of Fun and Games
The first community weekend of the new school year included more than a few activities for Blair students. Freshmen attended a retreat, and the boys’ soccer team reigned victorious (1-0) over local rival and state champs North Warren. The Senior Student Council conducted its first Friday School Meeting and later sponsored a Mardi Gras Dance with attendees making donations totaling over $600 toward relief of Hurricane Katrina victims. Super Sunday, with its food, games and ever-popular grease slide, was better than ever. The annual Full Moon Festival, spear-headed by Chinese teacher Susan Kramer to help alleviate homesickness on the part of Asian students and to celebrate the harvest season, included Asian-inspired food and games.
