Girls’ Crew Takes Bronze

Seth Blodgett, head coach for Blair girls’ crew, reports great news about a recent crew competition this May: “The girls’ lightweight four (Lauren Weinstein ’06, Alexa Gilmartin ’08, Gaby Zlocki ’07, Sam Tilney ’08 and Ally Martens ’07) won the bronze medal, and the boys’ junior and senior fours placed fourth in the finals of the Stotesbury Regatta. This regatta is the biggest in the world, and each crew races against 40-65 other schools. All six boats entered in the regatta made it to the semi-finals.” Posted 5/23/06
