Over the recent long winter weekend, 21 international students (from five different Asian countries) and three faculty members (Mr. and Mrs. Kramer and Mr. Clarke) traveled to Hawaii for five days of fun and relaxation on the beach at Waikiki. In addition to shopping and sunbathing, there were trips to the famous surfing hotspots on the north shore, a visit to the Pearl Harbor memorial, snorkeling, bike riding and hiking. The international group even participated in the American tradition of watching the Super Bowl and threw a football on the beach. “Fun was had by all,” said Mr. Clarke, “and there was much sadness upon returning to cold New Jersey.” Posted 2/21/06
