Girls Break School Record at Penn Relays

Coach Heather May reports exciting track news: “On April 27, the Blair girls’ 4x400 meter relay team of Winnie Adrien ’06, Kait Surdoval ’08, Kat Newman ’06 and Sachi Oiwa ’06 competed in The 2006 Penn Relays. They finished with a time of 4:09.17, breaking the 1600m relay school record by 10 seconds and placing 3rd in their heat out of 15 teams! The girls did an amazing job and we are looking forward to what the rest of the season will bring. It was a very exciting day for the relay team and for Blair Girls Track and Field.”
