Kait Surdoval is State Ski Champion

Ski coach Rob Merrifield reports that Kait Surdoval ’08 won the New Jersey State skiing championships by placing first in the giant slalom on March 3 and third in the slalom on March 4 at Mountain Creek. Last year Kait was the runner-up, but this year she captured the overall championship. Next week she will race at Okemo, Vermont, in the USSA Junior Olympics. The following week she will represent Team New Jersey at the Eastern Regional High School Championships at Mt. Cranmore in New Hampshire. Posted 3/6
