Student Video Wins Award from Columbus Film Council

Judith Kahan Kampmann, director of media services, is pleased to report that one of Blair’s student video projects has won an award. She was recently notified that the segment, “Who on Earth is God?” from Blair on the Air received a Bronze Plaque (6 out of 7 rating points) from the Film Council of Greater Columbus for its entry in the 54th Columbus International Film & Video Festival, also known as The Chris Awards.

The Chris Statuettes and Bronze Plaque awards will be presented at the 54th annual Awards Ceremony, Saturday, November 11, 2006, at the Columbus College of Art & Design. Film screenings for the festival will be held November 7-12, 2006. Two members of each production are invited guests at the awards ceremony and reception. As an award winner, “Blair on the Air” will be listed in the 2006 program ceremony guide and on the festival Web site.
