Alumnus Teaches About U.S. Corporations
Again this year, Bob Neff ’49 (pictured on left with speaker John Skvarla) is teaching “The American Corporation” an eight-week, not-for-credit course which, at times, is attended by up to 25 students. In his description for the course, Bob wrote, “This series…addresses an area that affects everyone to some degree, but which isn’t well understood by most people. The course is intended to be an overview of U.S. business corporations as they exist and function in present-day America. I am using the first sessions to build a platform of knowledge, which should allow students to extract maximum benefit from [the last sessions], when we’ll have guests joining me.”
On Thursday, February 15, John Skvarla, father of Matt Skvarla ’95, was the guest speaker for Bob’s class, addressing the topic of entrepreneurial innovation in building corporations.
