Blair Fall Athletic Awards 2006

During School Meeting on December 4, Blair athletes were honored for their achievements this past fall season. Chaplain and long-time soccer coach Peter Amerman was also recognized for his many years of service, as he will retire at the end of this school year. The following remarks were made: “While he has coached many different sports during his tenure, Coach Amerman’s passion has always been soccer. Whether playing on teams in local men’s leagues as a young faculty member or getting up before dawn to watch the U.S. World Cup team with his colleagues as a senior faculty member, he has always honored the game and those who play it. Now, it is our turn to honor him as a coach and a role model. On behalf of the hundreds of athletes, both male and female, who have had the privilege of playing soccer at Blair over the last 37 years, we would like to present this signed ball to Coach Amerman.”
