Special Skeptics Discusses Chances for Peace

A special Society of Skeptics program took place during the school day on Wednesday, April 16. Hagit Ofran, director of Settlement Watch, a project run by the Israeli group Peace Now, discussed “The Chances for Peace Between Palestinians and Israelis.”

Since 1990, Peace Now has taken it upon itself to provide reliable and accurate information regarding the expansion activities of Israeli settlements in the West Bank and in the Gaza Strip. Its Settlement Watch project was established for that very purpose. Known for their credibility and reliability, the data and maps produced by this project have immensely raised public awareness.
