Taki Speaks at Skeptics
Taki
Theodoracopulos ’55 was the featured Society of Skeptics speaker on April 8 and addressed the topic, “On the Evils of the Press.” He joked that after re-thinking the focus of his presentation, originally billed, “On the Freedom of the Press,” he felt compelled to revise the title. Taki also shared some amusing tales of his student years at Blair.
Often
controversial, Taki has been a columnist for the London
Spectator for 25 years. He is the author of the memoir, Nothing
to Declare. A contributing editor to New York Press,
he has also has been a columnist for the Times of London,
the New York Post, and The New York Observer and
has written frequently for National Review, The
America Spectator and many other magazines. Taki is a
national judo champion and a past member of the Greek Davis
Cup tennis team.
