Travelers Take in Tunisia
Earlier
this month, Latin teacher Eric Lunger, along with former math
teacher Josh Markey and seven Blair students, traveled to Tunisia
in
North Africa to tour significant Roman archaeological sites
there.
Highlights of the trip included visits to ancient Carthage,
Dougga,
Bulla Regia, Mactaris, Sufetula and Haidra. In addition, the
group spent
several days in Kairouan, one of the most important Islamic
cities in North Africa.
