Author & Educator Speaks at Skeptics
Jefferson Wiggins, an educator, lecturer, mentor and community leader, was the featured Society of Skeptics speaker on Tuesday, April 22. Born in rural Alabama to sharecropper parents, he enlisted in the U.S. Army as a teenager and received a field commission during World War II. Wiggins, one of the few African-American officers of that era, is the author of a memoir, Another Generation Almost Forgotten.
