Students Re-discover Music Through Discovery Orchestra

Students experienced classical music in a whole new light when they attended a Bartow Series program on January 17 in Armstrong-Hipkins Center for the Arts. Hosted by Artistic Director George Marriner Maull, the Discovery Orchestra presented a concert that proved to be educational, entertaining and interactive. Each performance attempts to deepen the experience of classical music by teaching just what to listen for during live performances.

Named after former Blair music teacher and composer Nevett Bartow, the Bartow Series is a program endowed with the mission to expand the artistic experiences of Blair students by bringing professional performers from far and wide to the Blair stage.
