Sculpture Exhibit Opens at Romano Gallery

Sculptures by artist Lisa Fedon are currently on display in a show entitled, “Inner Thoughts,” in the Romano Gallery of Armstrong-Hipkins Center for the Arts, now through October 6. An artist’s reception was held September 20.

Fedon uses the horse as a vehicle to express her inner thoughts through fabricated steel sculpture. She explains, “During the past two years, I have begun to use both the sculptural format of the horse and the functional format of the table and chair to express inner feelings about life and relationships. These pieces are assembled elements of life in steel or bronze. Both structure and chance, emotion and intellect, play a part in the choices to fabricate an object with warmth and joy and truth.”
