Skeptics Panelists Paint Diverse Picture
Young Alumni Share Career Choices

The annual Society of Skeptics program featuring a panel of young alumni took place on January 13. This year’s panelists were Taylor Jubanowsky ’02, manager, sponsorship & sales, for IMG Fashion; Gillian Sciaretta ’03, a sustainable building consultant at CodeGreen Solutions; Hyun Seok Hwang ’93, a senior analyst at Millennium Partners and Blair Trustee; Shakirah Miller ’91, principal at Miller Street School Academy in Newark, N.J.; and entrepreneur Marcos Rollan ’93, whose company, Ambiance by Rollan (based in New York City) specializes in event planning.

Audience members – including current students and many of the faculty who taught these returning alumni – had an opportunity to ask questions once each panelist had spoken. In general, these alumni shared an enthusiasm for being back at Blair, described the lessons they learned here that helped them later in life, and reflected on their favorite memories of Peddie Day. During a post-program reception at Sharpe House, they answered still more student questions and enjoyed a special evening of camaraderie. (Look for a feature in the Spring alumni Bulletin.)
