Blair Beats Hun: Wins State Championship Game at Home

The Blair varsity basketball team defeated the Hun School (53-51) in double overtime, winning the NJ Prep A State Championship Game on February 25 in Blair’s new performance gym. After running the clock down to the last few seconds of the second overtime of the tie championship game, Austin Johnson, ’09, missed a shot but was followed with a rebound and successful basket by Hakeem Harris ’10 with one second remaining to electrify the standing room only crowd, which swarmed the floor as the ball went through the net.
