Annual Blood Drive Saves Lives
Student Turnout Unprecedented
Blair Health Center’s annual blood drive was held in February, with Miller-Keystone Blood Center of Lehigh Valley, Pa., bringing its bloodmobile to campus to facilitate the drive. Health Center Director Diane Sauve reports: “The blood drive was a great success. This is the first year that students have outnumbered faculty and staff in terms of turnout, so it was truly student-driven! Forty-four donors registered, and 32 units of blood were collected. This adds up to 96 lives saved! So bravo to all the heroes of the day.”
