Return Engagement for Skeptics Speaker

Doug Bandow, author of Foreign Follies: America’s New Global Empire, spoke at the September 30 Society of Skeptics program. His topic for the evening was “Exit Iraq and Leave Bases Behind.” Bandow returned to the podium, having spoken at Skeptics in the past. He has appeared on many national television and radio shows, from Crossfire to Oprah. He often writes on such diverse topics as foreign aid, religion, environmental protection, foreign policy, education and the drug war. Bandow holds a B.S. in economics from Florida State University and a J.D. from Stanford University, has worked in the Reagan administration as special assistant to the president and also served as editor of the political magazine Inquiry.
