Timken Library Hosts Inaugural Advisor Fair

At times each fall, Blair students who need to choose an advisor may be uncertain of who is available or who may be their best choice. Ann Williams, director of Timken Library, notes that she and her staff are hosting the first-ever Advisor Fair to assist in the decision process. She explains, “Whenever the library is open, the fair is open. Students can come in and browse the informational posters about particular faculty who have openings to accept some new advisees. Students can find out about hobbies, interests, and connect a picture to a person before they choose. If none of that helps, they may spin the Wheel of Fortune and let Fate decide (results are nonbinding!).”

We urge students to stop in, get acquainted with Timken Library and start gathering some valuable information. Mrs. Williams, along with her library assistants, Mrs. Brazaitis, Ms. Newcomb and Ms. Skeffington, are pleased to lend a hand.
