Art Students Visit NY City
A group of art students recently traveled to New York City for a day of art appreciation, visiting the Frick Museum and the Gagosian Gallery in Chelsea to see Claude Monet, Late Paintings. They ended the day with a special visit to the home of Norbert and Elizabeth Wirsching, grandparents of TJ Welch ’10, for a tour of their collection emphasizing Asian and Orientalist art.
Students Cecily Marangos, Jenny Hsu, Rachael Tseng, Bo Been Chung, You Jin Lee, Lauren Fitzgerald, Elin Ryd were accompanied by faculty members Rita Baragona, Sue Habermann, and Don and Sue Morley. Erik and Jakob Ryd, father and brother of Elin, also joined the group.
