Final Performance by String Trio

The Blair String Trio performed its last recital on May 11 in Chesnutt Chapel/Clinton Hall. Earlier this school year, the trio was accepted to join the New York Youth Symphony Chamber Music Program. Director of Instrumental Music Jen Pagotto explained, “The trio members, Jenny Shin ’11, violin; Terrence Ting ’10, cello, and Da Eun Jung ’11, piano, traveled to New York City throughout the school year to participate in master classes and coaching sessions under the direction of pianist Claude Frank (a famous performer and faculty member at the Yale School of Music and the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia) and violinist Ani Kavafian (a prolific performer and faculty member at the Yale School of Music).” The trio’s program culminated in a performance on April 21 at Symphony Space in New York City.
