Violinist Wins State Competition

Performing Arts Chair Jennifer Pagotto reports that on November 14, the Music Teachers National Association held its annual state-wide solo competitions. She noted, “New Jersey winners advance to the Eastern division competition in January, and the National competition a few weeks later. Blair is proud to announce that their orchestra concertmaster, Jenny Shin ’11, won the MTNA New Jersey violin competition and will advance to the Eastern competition.”
