String Trio Performs in NY City

Performing Arts Chair Jennifer Pagotto reported earlier this year that the Blair String Trio was accepted to join the New York Youth Symphony Chamber Music Program. She said, “The trio members, Jenny Shin’11, violin; Terrence Ting ’10, cello, and Da Eun Jung ’11, piano, traveled to New York City throughout the school year to participate in master classes and coaching sessions under the direction of pianist Claude Frank (a famous performer and faculty member at the Yale School of Music and the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia) and violinist Ani Kavafian (a prolific performer and faculty member at the Yale School of Music).”

Jen is pleased to report that the trio’s program culminated in a performance on April 21 at Symphony Space in New York City. Members of the Blair community were in the audience to applaud and support these talented musicians (see photos).
