Trading Cold for Hot

Faculty members Carm Mazza and Sarah O’Neil and 16 students traded the cold climate of Blairstown for the 85-degree temps of St. Thomas over Long Winter Weekend. Carm reports, “We all stayed at the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort, an out-of-the-way resort in the hills of St. Thomas. A short 150 steps down the hill took us onto the beach and into the warm, blue waters of the Caribbean. We traveled into the town of Red Hook for evening meals, Charlotte Amalie for shopping, and enjoyed a day at sea on a catamaran – highlighted by a trip to St. John for snorkeling, swimming and boat diving. Overall, it was four beautiful days of relaxation, sun and fun!”
