Viewbook Vies and Wins
The new Blair admission viewbook garnered a bronze award from CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) in its District II Accolades Awards program in the category of “Student Recruitment – Individual Pieces: Viewbooks and Prospectuses.” The four-color publication is a collaboration between Blair’s admission officers and the director of communications. Headmaster Chan Hardwick said, “This award is a great reflection on the vision and process of presenting the School to the world. Congratulations!”
As a boarding school, Blair Academy vied against colleges and universities within this particular Accolades category, so the honor is particularly impressive. Positive feedback has also been received from Blair alumni and key leadership who have accessed the viewbook, which is available in pdf format by clicking here. The viewbook – which provides prospective students and their families with information about the School – was designed by Snavely Associates, Ltd., State College, Pa. (Principals in the firm are founder Larry Snavely ’67 and his sons Chris ’96 and Jonathan.) In a few weeks, the CASE Web site will reflect Blair’s achievement, with awards presented at CASE’s annual conference in February.
