Arts Center Houses Architectural Display

The rotunda of Blair’s Armstrong-Hipkins Center for the Arts was recently graced with the work of Blair’s architecture students who study under faculty member Eli King. Their tensegrity structure – fashioned from wire and PVC pipes – is a type of structure with an integrity based on a balance between tension and compression components.

Blair offers courses in architecture as well as advanced architecture. Earlier in the school year, Eli’s students studied bridge-building at the home of art teacher Rita Baragona; click here to read more.
