Turning Pages for Charity

The annual Blair Read-A-Thon, sponsored by Timken Library, again raised funds to support Partners in Health, a non-profit organization that provides health care in Haiti. Beginning with Spring Break, students earned a penny per page for all non-assigned reading they accomplished, thanks to a generous donation from an anonymous Blair alumnus.

According to Ann Williams, director of the library, the list of books that students read was extensive and diverse. She is pleased to announce that the total amount of funds raised is $850.
