Assisting Cambodia’s Children
Topic of Skeptics
Dr. Nancy Hendrie, M.D., founder and president of the Sharing Foundation, Cambodia, was the featured Society of Skeptics speakers on October 26. Dr. Hendrie’s topic for the evening was “Growing Up Poor in Cambodia.”
The Sharing Foundation’s mission is to help meet the physical, emotional, educational and medical needs of orphaned and seriously disadvantaged children in Cambodia. The organization’s goal is to help prevent some of the problems associated with poverty by developing, in consultation with Cambodian community leaders, programs to improve the health and welfare of these children and their families.
