News & Events 2010-2011 Whistleblower Speaks at Special Lecture
On February 15, Blair presented a special Society of Skeptics program, the James Youngelson ’53 Lecture on Ethics and Responsibility, featuring Arthur F. “Ty” Schlobohm IV ’92, a whistleblower who wore a wire for the F.B.I. to help convict a fund manager who conducted a Ponzi scheme. Ty was the focus of a New York Times article in October of last year; click here to read.
This lecture series (established in April 2009 by Mr. Youngelson’s sister and late brother-in law, Joan and Jonah Sherman) honors alumnus Jim Youngelson ’53 – an attorney and former president of the Morris County (N.J.) Bar Association – for his service to others and seeks to inspire in young people the ideals of justice, responsibility and service.
