East Hall Presents “The Story of Christmas”
On Saturday, December 10, the Men of East Hall presented “The Story of Christmas” to students and faculty. The play was a combination of the nativity story of Jesus’ birth and Linus’ speech from Merry Christmas Charlie Brown. East Hall portrayed the full inn in Bethlehem, and the audience followed the story from East patio to the Class of 1921 Grove into the Hideaway Shed (as the manger). They ended in East Hall common room with hot chocolate and an invitation to carol. Notable performances were Mr. and Mrs. Sykes as Mary and Joseph, Max Kaplan ’12 as baby Jesus and Kelvin Serem ’13, wrapped in Christmas lights, as the Star of Bethlehem.
