Blair Fund Sets Record!

Thank you for your support and for meeting the Challenge! The advancement office is pleased to announce a record-breaking year in terms of the Blair Fund and alumni participation levels. Cara Mohlmann, director of advancement operations & annual giving, provides the following report:

2011 Records
$2,579,737 overall Blair Fund dollars raised
$1,152,924 given by alumni
33% alumni participation

Giving
Overall giving is up 4%, from $2,477,949 last year to $2,579,737
Alumni dollars finished 21% ahead of last year, $951,954 to $1,152,924
For the first time ever, alumni participation reached 33%, up from a steady 32% over the last several years (from 1897 donors to 1956 donors).
Parent participation remained strong at 81%

Alumni Challenge
We exceeded the $250,000 available for the Challenge, receiving:
New gifts: A total of 380 people gave who did not give last year
Increased gifts: A total of 518 people increased their gift
