Campus Alight for Winter Season
Memories of Autumn Still Abound
There is a chill in the air and the days are getting shorter. As the School approached the winter holidays, students decorated the campus as they reflected upon the past semester from pre-season to Peddie Day, community service to chapel; they continued to study hard and build the strong community that is the foundation of Blair Academy.
The highlight of the Fall Semester was Blair’s win over the Peddie School, keeping the Kelley-Potter Cup in Blairstown for the second year in a row! Students kept community service as a focus this past fall, making blankets, picking apples and baking for charity! Students discussed China, Mt. Everest and fracking at the Society of Skeptics. They visited the Met and artist Christo, attended university lectures in epidemiology, saw Othello by the New Jersey Shakespeare Company and performed the musical Working. It’s been a busy and fun semester with much more to follow in the upcoming months.
