Parent Newsletter: September 24, 2004
Dear BLAIR PARENTS and FAMILIES,
Faculty and students have settled into classes, and other activities are fully underway. The month of September is almost over and can be summarized as WET. Blair Academy and the town center were hit by the aftermath of Ivan on September 18. Luckily the campus suffered little damage except for the home of faculty members Ryan and Stacey Spring, who resided in the Old Mill on Main Street.
Parent volunteers helped with the opening of school registration and with underclass photos that took place the week of September 13. Look for proofs of your son or daughter in the mail within the next month. They will be sent directly to you from photographer Jim Rimi. Please note that students were strongly urged to get their pictures taken, but not required. (Parents of seniors will receive proofs of senior yearbook portraits taken by Justin Baiter Photography.)
