Parent Volunteers Transform Dining Hall

The Sadie Hawkins dance committee of Blair’s Parent Volunteer Group created a winter wonderland for this year’s semi-formal. The students in South Hall chose the “Snowflake Ball” theme and helped set the special menu complete with snow cones and white chocolate fountain. Even the weather cooperated with the theme, blanketing the campus with fresh snow and setting the mood as students walked the luminary-lined path from Sharpe House to Romano Dining Hall.
Students and faculty entered the dance through a crystal cave created by Debbie Devenny (P ’08). Classical guitarist Jeanmarie Tissot (P ’04, ’08) and violinist Susan Davenport performed during dinner, with a strolling magician entertaining the party-goers. Janice Hedden (P ’08) took professional portraits available in a regular or snow globe frame.

THANK YOU to all the parent volunteers who provided the decorations and worked together to create such a special night for Blair students.
