Blair Academy celebrated the arts with its fifth annual Spring Arts Weekend featuring performances by student musicians, actors and dancers, as well as video productions and a multitude of student artwork.

A special tribute to Denise Alexander Male, who passed away in January, took place before the dance concert on Saturday evening when her son Anwar ’02 and daughter Kenya each performed a dance honoring their mother. A former faculty member and founder of Blair’s dance program, Denise waged a brave battle before succumbing to cancer.
